AT Chat at Scitech

The team had a fun morning trying out the exhibits, exploring the centre and experiencing a show at the Planetarium, as well as trying out the sensory backpack that can be requested from the front desk.

It includes a Social Story, communication cards, ear defenders, fidget toys and more, to make visits by people who experience sensory sensitivity more accessible and enjoyable.

Accessibility and Inclusion

As well as exploring the centre, the team had a chance to talk to some of the staff at Scitech, learning more about their efforts around inclusion for people with disability, as well as potential collaboration with AT Chat in the future.
